Nok Out is a non toxic hypoallergenic, a true deodorant which oxidatively eliminates organic and inorganic sources of odor pollution. Nok Out has a cumulative and residual long lasting effect.

For simple odors, Nok Out may be sprayed directly onto carpeting using a dilution ratio of 473ml./16oz. per 3.78L./1gal. of water. If other products have been used previously, apply Club Soda to the carpet before applying Nok Out. Allow the Club Soda to dry before continuing the odor removal process.

Where animal urine or other body secretions have occurred and penetration has reached the hard surface under the carpet.... surface application may be tried by using Nok Out mixed 1:1 with water allowing deep penetration and standing time on the area.

With a long standing problems it is best to lift the carpet and replace that section of under pad. Use Nok Out on the hard surface full strength and completely soak the back of the carpet. Cat urine being one of the most difficult problems to eliminate, as you need to destroy the odorous bacteria as well as the ammonia salts. Should you not want to lift the carpet, a syringe may be used to inject Nok Out (every 6-8 inches) thoroughly soaking the carpet and substrate, to about 1 inch larger than the odor area, then allow to air dry. This may have to be done more than once depending on the size and age of the odor source.

NOTE: It is always recommended that when spot treating an area that you test for color fastness in an inconspicuous area .... especially when using Nok Out at full strength !!

When using Nok Out in a carpet cleaning machine, add 473ml./16oz. of Nok Out to each 3.78L / 1gal. of cleaning solution.

When steam cleaning, add 950ml./32oz. of Nok Out to each 37L./10gal. of steam cleaning solution.

NOTE: When using Nok Out in shampooing and steam cleaning machines , it is recommended to add one (1) teaspoon of baking soda per 3.78L/1gal. of Nok Out to neutralize any acids in the cleaning fluids.

Eliminating odors from hard & porous surfaces
Nok Out will eliminate odors resulting from long standing urine, vomit, mildew or similar foul smells found on all types of hard and porous surfaces such as linoleum, concrete or grouted surfaces.

Prior attempts with other cleaning solutions and / or commercial odor removal products must be neutralized before applying Nok Out. This can be accomplished by applying a medium strong baking soda and water solution to the affected area. Club Soda can also be used with good effects. Allow this to air dry.

Bacteria and odor causing salts which have seeped into the pores of concrete and tile grout will harbor foul odors, and must be displaced before the odor will be eliminated. Apply by saturating the area with full strength Nok Out. Allow to air dry. It may be necessary to remove linoleum or tile grout to reach the subsurface, before complete elimination of odors takes place.

Second applications of Nok Out are not unusual because the odor causing salts must be displaced before all odors are completely removed. (This can occur if the pores of the concrete have not been affected by Nok Out. The initial application of Nok Out will eliminate all surface odors, but bacteria and salts that are trapped in the pores of the concrete or other porous surfaces will leach out to the surface allowing odors to return.)

Smoke and Tabacco odors

• To eliminate odor in a smoker's room, add 236 ml / 8 oz of Nok Out to 3.78L / 1 gal. of water in a cold vaporizer. Operate the vaporizer in the room as needed (up to 4 hr. at a time). This method works well in any area that has airborne odor problems.
• Using a clean air filter in your furnace or air conditioning system , dampen the entire surface with Nok Out every 7 -10 days or as needed. Also replace filters more often.
• Spray drapes, upholstered furniture with a fine mist of Nok Out (be sure to always test any fabric in an inconspicuous place for color fastness be for applying Nok Out). Nok Out evaporates at the same rate as water.
• Nok Out contains a light cleansing agent, therefore it may be used on floors, walls and countertops. The correct dilution rate is 236 ml. / 8 oz. of Nok Out to 3.78L / 1 gal. of water.
• In closets where smoking odors have collected on clothing, the clothing should be aired out and the interior of the closet sprayed with Nok Out. It is often difficult to remove smoking odors from clothing. NOTE: clothing may be sprayed directly with Nok Out, if you have first tested for color fastness.
• On clothing which is washable, Nok Out may be placed in the wash water at a dilution rate of 236 ml. / 8 oz. per wash and rinse cycle to eliminate smoking or other stubborn odors.

Eliminating Foul Refrigerator Odors
The USDA has affirmed that Nok Out is safe to use around food products, on kitchen counters any where food is being prepared. To completely remove malodors, Nok Out must come into contact with the source of the offending odor. Therefore, it is necessary to spray, wipe or wash all surfaces and crevices thoroughly to completely dispel foul odors. It is best to disconnect the freezer when cleaning with Amazing Nok Out, otherwise it will freeze before effectively eliminate the malodors.

When home refrigerators develop malodors from spilled or spoiled food, uncovered left overs or power failures, Nok Out can restore this home appliance to odor free condition, when the following protocol is used:

1. Removing shelving, glass trays, hydrators and any removable sections of the refrigerator. wash with a 236 ml. / 8 oz. Nok Out to 1.5L / 2 qt. water solution. Wipe all interior surfaces of the refrigerator with the same solution.
2. All seams, linings, moldings, door gaskets and crevices should be carefully sprayed with full strength Nok Out. (It is critical that the door gaskets are well saturated with Nok Out.)
3. Clean the drain outlet for the interior of the refrigerator ( which is normally located in the bottom center of the refrigerator) with full strength Nok Out.
4. Remove the drain pans from both the freezer and refrigerator sections and wash with 50 / 50 solution of Nok Out and water.
5. Allow to air dry for 10 minutes before closing refrigerator / freezer doors !!!
