Air Borne Odors

Such as perfumes, smoke and cooking odors, simply spray the air in those areas to be effective.  For larger areas (family rooms, kitchens, garages, etc.), or to eliminate musty air conditioner and duct odors, spray the air filters and/or use a power fogger routinely (every 10 days) to do the job best.  The use of a humidifier with four (4) ounces of Nok-Out per gallon of water will also provide wonderful results in larger areas.

Urine, Diarrhea, Vomit and Blood

1) Spray the air  2) Spray the problem  3) Clean up the problem.  Completely remove blood from the area using water prior to applying Nok-Out.

Toys and Other “Shared” Items and Surfaces

Either spray directly on toys/surface or wash in a Nok-Out cleaning solution of ½ cup Nok-Out per gallon of water.  Will act as a disinfectant and help prevent the spread of odor sources.

Pet Odors

Nok-Out  will not irritate the skin of dogs or cats, and is non-toxic.  The pet can be sprayed liberally to generally deodorize the pet.  Add Nok-Out to pet shampoo too!

Cat Boxes

Spray daily with Nok-Out and have NO odor.  Helps owners to control “finicky” cats that don’t like a dirty box.

Diaper Pails, Trash Cans

Liberally spray the container.

Counters, Floors and Walls

For best results, fog the entire area regularly.  Otherwise, spray or wash with Nok-Out cleaning solution of ½ cup of Nok-Out per gallon of water.

Carpet and Upholstery

IMPORTANT!!  Test first on inconspicuous area for colour fastness.  Enzymes, such as those found in Resolve and Nature’s Way, must be completely removed from the fibers prior to applying any Nok-Out solution.  Process:  a) steam clean with water  b) test for colour fastness and  c) steam clean with Nok-Out solution of 4-8 ounces of Nok-Out to one (1) gallon of steam cleaning solution.

 If vinegar or other acidic solution has been used to clean the area within the last 2-3 days, pre-treat with ½- 1 teaspoon of baking soda to one (1) quart of water.  For large areas, a power mister/fogger does the job.  For isolated areas, pour or spray Nok-Out on the area to the point of saturating the pad (there is no need to over-saturate, however).  Spray or pour directly on concrete under padding for stubborn odors.  To steam clean, add 4-8 ounces of Nok-Out  to each gallon of steam cleaning solution.

Clothes

Use directly on clothing to deodorize and effectively clean the area.  (Test first on inconspicuous area for colour fastness).  Great for those allergies!

Shoes, Gym Bags and Lockers

Spray liberally inside shoes and bags and allow to dry thoroughly.  Spray or wipe inside of locker.

Laundry

Add about 4 ounces of Nok-Out to water of each load.

Cigarettes/Cigars

Spray whatever surface is necessary; ashtrays, autos, clothing, furniture, etc.

Bedding

Fog or spray the area before bedding is in place.

Kitchen Smells- Onion, Fish, Garlic, Etc.

Simply spray your hands, cutting boards, knives, and the air after handling even the strongest odors such as onion, garlic or fish.

Garbage Dispoals

Pour Nok-Out directly into disposal.

Microwaves, Ovens and Refrigerators

Wipe or spray on surfaces to remove malodors.  Will also assist in removing stubborn baked-on food.
